Most people think of sun damage and blotchy hyperpigmentation as it relates to the face. There are other areas of the body that are prone to sun damage such as the neck, upper chest, back and arms. The Obagi NuDerm System is effective for these areas as shown in this 40-year-old female with hyperpigmentation (melasma) on both forearms.

At times, hyperpigmentation may be a result of trauma, such as a burn on the leg from a motorcycle exhaust, or blunt trauma causing bleeding under the skin resulting in later hyperpigmentation of the involved area. All of these areas respond to the Obagi Nu-Derm Advanced Skincare System.
