"Prior to meeting Dr. Pacik and his staff, I had spent a fortune in department stores on expensive skin care and cosmetics. Despite the fact that these products never produced the results I desired.

I had heard through TV shows and magazines of the many skin resurfacing techniques available at plastic surgeons offices. So I made an appointment with Dr. Pacik. His office had a wonderful reputation and I was impressed with the comfortable atmosphere Dr. Pacik and his staff provided.

Quite a few of the ladies in his office were using the Obagi Nu derm products and had received the Obagi blue peel. Their skin was beautiful and even more convincing than before and after pictures.

When Dr. Pacik suggested (after a thorough exam) that this would be a good course for me as well, I was excited to get started.

Too much exposure to the sun and smoking had left my skin prematurely wrinkled and uncomfortably dry. What had been cute little freckles had turned into big brown patches. No amount of moisturizer brought relief to my dry skin and no foundation covered the dry spots without accentuating the wrinkles. Now after going through three six week cycles of the Obagi Nuderm products and a 15% Obagi blue peel, I am thrilled with the results. My skin is now even toned and firm. My lines have softened and the dryness is a thing of the past. I feel so much more confident and have received such positive feedback from family and friends.

I would highly recommend the Obagi Nuderm products and blue peel. Finally I saw the results I had hoped for. Most importantly the price of the products are more than reasonable when compared to high end department store products. Because you stay on a maintenance program for life the results don't go away. So no more shopping for expensive makeups and moisturizers now.

"Over the last several years I have spent a great deal of money trying to find the perfect concealer to hide the brown spots on my face. I never went without makeup, as I was uncomfortable with how I looked. Even though the concealer hid the brown spots, I disliked the fact that it got onto my clothing.

When I started on the Obagi Nu-Derm program I was amazed at how my skin felt. My skin no longer felt dry. Within a very short time I noticed the brown spots, to my amazement, where beginning to disappear. I stopped wearing concealer and eventually realized that I was no longer going to need it. "At SkinCare-MD, we make an attempt to use all the products that we recommend to our patients and for sale on our Skincare-md.com website. I was quite pleased with the MD Forte program and advanced to Level III products for about one year. I have always struggled with dry skin, aggravated by outdoor athletics, and was a "moisturizer addict"! Frequent hand washing, surgical scrubs and dry New Hampshire winters left my hands particularly dry and prone to cracking.

Lower eyelid bags and loose skin run in the family. In my 50's, I began looking for a plastic surgeon for my own lids. I was thrilled with the MD Forte Eye Rejuvenation Cream and noticed continued improvement -- to a point where I no longer consider surgery for myself. As a result, I encourage my patients to do the same before signing up for surgery for their lower lids. (Upper eyelid hang still requires surgery.) My face and hands continue to improve and rarely needed supplemental Kinerase or Replenish Hydrating Cream.

The MD Forte program does not address pigmentary problems. I noticed mild sun damage and increasing spotty hyperpigmentation on my own face. At a Plastic Surgery meeting in April 2002, I attended a presentation by Dr. Zein Obagi. I was impressed with the control of pigmentary problems that Dr. Obagi reported. It was a result of this meeting that we trained in the Obagi Nu-Derm Advanced Skin Care System and Blue Peel, and began carrying the Obagi Nu-Derm products.

In a mere 6 weeks, I noticed an improved complexion and continued improvement in the hydration of my skin. The early uncomfortable flaking and dryness gave way to softer, tighter skin with a decrease in pigmentary problems. The skin on my face and hands feels comfortable now, with no need for supplementary moisturizers!

September 2006: It's now over 3 years that I have been on the Obagi Nu-Derm program of skin care and I continue to be delighted with the results. I spent a couple of years on the Obagi Nu-Derm System, and then switched over to the Obagi-C Rx System for the past year as a maintenance program. I find that my skin stays in a nice steady state of hydration, and rarely do I need to supplement with a moisturizer.

I continue to use my eyecreams on a daily basis, and the wrinkling of the lower lids is still under control with no need for surgery."

"As a teenager, I was plagued with acne at a very early age. I tried every product that was sold on the market. I had very oily skin. These products dried out my skin and I still had acne! This went on for years. By my early twenties, my skin was still oily and I was still experiencing too many breakouts. By my mid-thirties, I was still experiencing occasional breakouts (adult-onset acne) and my skin had a rough appearance. "I started seeing spots of darker pigment on my face as early as 1997 but was always able to cover it with makeup . . .. something I hated. It wasn’t until 2003 that others seemed to notice or at least begin to question it. My family would tell me I had dirt on my face. My friend’s kids would say, why is your face dirty and the last straw was the summer of 2004 when my face became the subject of a conversation between my mother and her friends. By then, without makeup it was shocking to see the large brown patches on both cheeks. I had to do something.

Chemical peels and laser treatments were just too expensive but I did not care. I got lucky and saw the product Obagi Nu-Derm on the Opray Show and decided that was the route I was going to take.
